History

Founded in 1991 by Stephen Robinson and held annually each summer, the Stetson International Guitar Workshop has invited classical guitarists of every age and level to participate in daily master classes, seminars and guitar orchestra. In addition to performance opportunities and a luthier's exhibit, the Workshop has presented a Festival Concert Series and personal coaching by an invited distinguished international artist faculty. Recognized as one of the largest and most prestigious guitar festivals of its kind, each year the Workshop hosts 165 students from all over the world, an international artist faculty of 13, and concert audiences of over 3,000.
